This week you will be pleased to hear has been a good one!
It started well with our first trip out in Rosie. Rosie is a new member of our family…my new baby…a 1990 VW campervan!
Full of excitement we jumped in her at the first opportunity last Saturday and took her on a trip to Bath. Since we rarely eat out and were parked up practically in central Bath, it seemed wrong not to try out a restaurant that had an extensive gluten-free menu and could re-assure me that the chips were fried in a separate fryer from anything with gluten. Hurrah! Cosy Club Bath was our destination.
After gluten-free burgers and chips (well burger and no bun and salad for me!) we returned to lots of monkeying around in the van, until finally the excitement wore off and the kids fell asleep at about 10.15pm!
Anyway, as I said, that was a good start to the week and I have been trying in earnest to get down to writing the recipe book.
Some of my lovely readers on Facebook have agreed to trial some of my new recipes…just to double, triple, quadruple check that they work and are as good as I am told they are! Some independent testing is always a good thing! Especially now, as I cannot try things myself on my current diet.
Plans are slowly forming as to what I will include and what I won’t include so I feel as though things are coming together at last! Whether I find a publisher is another matter!!
For those of you who were not quick enough to answer my call for recipe testers, I wondered if you might give me some other help. I would like to re-arrange my recipe page into better categories.
When I started the blog I envisaged sharing just the recipes I had already created…but it has grown way beyond that as I have discovered a certain ‘knack’ in recipe development!
The recipe page therefore needs a re-jig to make things easier to find…and that is where you come in.
Please could you let me know, however you find easiest…email, via social media, or by leaving a comment below, how you would like to see my recipes categorised to make it easier to find things. After all, the site is really for you my readers, and not for me anymore. And I want to make sure that it is easy to navigate.
We are off in Rosie again tomorrow on another adventure, so until next week…have a great weekend and I look forward to hearing from you! x
