I have been using a mixture of unsweetened almond milk and gluten-free oat milk

Thumbnail piece of fresh ginger
sliced

piece cinnamon stick

star anise

Sprinkle powdered tumeric

Pinch
vanilla powder

Place all the ingredients into a small saucepan and bring slowly to the boil

Allow to simmer for 5 minutes before straining into the mug or a couple of small cups
