The story behind the say goodbye to gluten online course
I created this online course for other people like us.
When our daughter was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2010 life became a little more tricky. She was only two years old and although I had been on a wheat free diet for almost 20 years it was still a challenge.
After spending a huge chunk of my life working out what to feed her and how to cope with every day life, I decided it was time to teach what I’d learnt to others.
There is so much conflicting advice out there. I wanted to create something where accurate information was shared all in one place. And where time could be saved when it came to adapting to a gluten free life.
I also wanted to create a supportive environment where people could get help from others on the same journey.
Hence the say goodbye to gluten online course was born.
You can read more about our story here.
What does the course cover?
You’ll find full details of the modules by clicking on the button above called ‘more details and buy’.
In summary, the course covers everything from what gluten is, where it is found, how to cook and bake gluten free food, how to read food labels and how to organise your kitchen. It’s a comprehensive course covering all the basic information you need when you set out on a gluten free diet.
Each video module is around 10 minutes long and there are downloadable resources such as meal plan documents and posters too.
Who is the course for?
The course is for anyone new to the gluten free diet, or struggling to get to grips with it.
Many people follow a GF diet and find they still have symptoms. It is often because they don’t fully understand what cross contamination is, or the places where gluten can hide.
I cover all of this in the course teaching people, even those who have been gluten free for years, things they didn’t already know.
What else is included in the say goodbye to gluten course?
In addition to the online videos that can be watched at any time, there are numerous helpful downloads (such as a meal plan template) and you will be invited to a private online support group. Here you can contact me to request help and also ask questions of others who are doing, or who have done, the course.
