The Story Behind My Award Winning* Gluten Free Flour BlendAs a scientist and mum of a child with coeliac disease, food allergies and intolerances I developed my unique whole grain gluten free flour without rice to nourish her with wholesome nutritious food.
It’s important for me to know that she is getting vital nutrients along with protein and fibre whenever she eats, and having found no suitable flour blends on the market I created my own.
Now I know that whatever I make for her, from pasta to bread, cakes and pastry she is getting some goodness with every mouthful.
On its own it can be used to make:
- Flatbreads (wraps)
- Pizza bases
- Pastry (shortcrust, rough puff, choux and Danish) and more
With the addition of baking powder (1tsp per 100g) it can be used to make:
- American pancakes
- Soda breads
- Waffles and more
One bag of flour is all you need for all your baking.

of which sugars 0.9g
Vitamin B3: 1.2mg
How do I store it?
The flour should be stored in an air tight container. It has a shelf life of 12 months (current batch October 2021) but this can be extended by storing the flour in the freezer.
Is it tested gluten free?
It is very important to me that anything I create is completely gluten free with no trace of contamination. For this reason the flour is manufactured in a totally gluten free environment. It is also tested for gluten using the R5 – Sandwich ELIZA (Mendez method) in an independent laboratory, Food Allergen Centre.
Being a small independent manufacturer I can’t afford to pay for the Crossed Grain Symbol.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes, the flour packets are made from paper so please recycle them.

£2.99 flat rate for orders up to £25 to all UK mainland addresses.
Orders below £10 excluding shipping are sent by Royal Mail second class. Due to the current situation deliveries are taking longer than usual.

Those placed after 12pm on a Friday or over a weekend will be sent out on the following Monday.
Due to the current situation there may be slight delays to this.
Can you deliver outside the UK?
No I’m afraid I only deliver to the UK. However if you’d like to know how to make this gluten free flour blend check out my online cookery courses where I teach how to make this blend along with how to use it.
I've been wanting to try the flour for a long time. I got some a few weeks ago and only just gotten around to making some. I followed the bread baguette recipe on the website, so easy to follow and the best bit.. They rose! I've tried so many times to do bread and don't always get a rise, this was amazing. I made a diy baguette pan as I didn't have one, so they are rustic looking. They taste amazing and not a bit gummy.
Very tasty and well worth the money!
Having met Vicki at a Free From food show, we decided to try her flour as I was also concerned about the amount of rice in my gluten free daughter's diet. It did seem expensive compared to some supermarket flours (although they have rice flour in) but it is well worth the money. The flour is tasty and hasn't crumbled like others have. We recently made cupcakes to take to a party as between them my children are gluten, wheat, dairy, soya, egg, banana, kiwi, tomato and sulphite free. We used a recipe from Vicki's website and made very tasty chocolate cupcakes. Well worth the money and this is what I will be using going forward for the kids.
Makes Delicious Bread!
Made your bread for the first time yesterday. It's delicious. Actually it's too delicious I will be eating far too much of it. It was also so easy to make. Won't be buying bread anymore. Thanks.
Lovely Tasty Quick Bread Alternative!
This is a lovely tasty and quick bread alternative, thank you Vicki. I like to make it alongside a 'picky tea' or with soup or a stew. My only problem with the recipe is the 'leave to cool' part! 🙂 I can never resist the warm end of a fresh baked loaf!
This flour is very good , even though it is slightly darker than ordinary flour.
My cooking skills are not brilliant but cakes were fine.
I've made ordinary sponge cake with it.
Excellent and easy to use product, supplier has and excellent website with recipes and ideas and is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. We love eating things made with this flour.
Love the plain flour, have found it very versatile.
Performs much better than rival brands in my experience.
Have used the flour to adapt my cooking to suit my husbands dietary needs from pies, pasties, scones and cakes to using it as a thickening agent in sauces, stews and casseroles.
Love it--don't use anything else now.
Other flours are mostly rice based which is bad news! I really like the honesty which Vicki shows in all her products and any communication I have with her
I've made so many things with it! Victoria Sponge, Mince pies, little marzipan cakes, and yesterday I made an amazing ginger cake from Glutenfreecuppatea :-)) If I was clever enough I would post a picture! Nothing made with wheat in our house!
I always feel left out when I make it for the family. So tonight I made pizza for them the usual way & used your plain flour to make mine. I expected to have to put a jacket potato in the oven as I'd anticipated the base failing (I've tried alternative flours before) but no! I've just had the most delicious little pizzas.
They've all tried a piece and really liked it.Ff
The flour is fantastic. My daughter is a coeliac, my husband and I are not but we really enjoy the bread we make from the flour. We don"t have to worry about cross contamination, the bread is delicious!
It is better than competitors for making bread in a breadmaker with a few simple ingredients.
